Former Super Eagles star, Daniel Amokachi has identified the major reason behind the team’s inability to perform well at FIFA World Cups.
He said the “money factor” was responsible for the dismal performance of the Super Eagles at football’s biggest showpiece.
Amokachi said, “The only thing that causes confusion most of the time is the money factor. Hopefully the federations going to the World Cup have sat down and agreed with the players on the allowances and I hope we don’t see such kind of distraction when the World Cup begins.”
Amokachi, who was a part of the team to the 1994 World Cup and an assistant to Coach Stephen Keshi to the 2014 World Cup, said the team could perform well with the right mindset.
